Today, Rutter’s customers leverage Rutter to directly integrate into dozens of commerce, accounting, and payment processing platforms. In addition to rising e-commerce consumer spend, the subscription economy is also booming. In 2020, over $650 Billion was spent on subscriptions, with a forecast of growing to $1.5 trillion in 2025.
With this, we heard from both customers and prospects alike the need to connect to subscription platforms. Leveraging our proprietary infrastructure for building integrations 10x faster Rutter Odyssey, we’re excited to add Subscriptions as a new top-level endpoint. Today, we announce our new integrations to Chargebee, Stripe, Chargify, and Recurly, with additional platforms in development.
Accessing this subscription data in the same consistent, standardized, and reliable manner enables our customers to make better-informed underwriting decisions across more businesses, calculate detailed financial projections, and more.
While most APIs integrate into these subscription platforms and only pull transaction data, Rutter has exposed a dedicated subscription endpoint that allows developers to grab a more comprehensive set of fields such as the status of the subscription, frequency, intervals, and more. These fields allow lenders to model out cash flows from subscriptions and factor them into their underwriting model.
With this subscription platform launch, we’re excited to see what companies build on top of our new Subscriptions API. Learn more about our data model here, and get in touch if you’d like to learn more.
